PL Notes for Section 25
19:35: The word "territory" sounds like "terry" in "poured into the Territory of Kansas from the North."

Hello all. I'd like to claim and read section 09 - Collapse of the System if I may. Full disclosure: I'm new and it would be my first effort. Ashleighjane, thanks for your input on my 1 minute tests.

Hi Jesse :)

I'll sign you up for the section, but first I need to know what name you would like to use for the catalogue :) I can also add a link to a personal website, if you have one.

Right, I read that. Jesse Crisp-Sears is fine, and I don't have a web page. If that ever changes, I'll let folks know. Incidentally, are we to read things in brackets, like [Sidenote: "Sangamon Journal," November 7, 1835.] The actual note doen't appear to be present, but perhaps a listener would want to look it up elsewhere? Thanks very much.

Lib r I v ox doesn't really have any rules on this, but for this project I think its best if source citations are omitted, but please do read the footnotes

I may not be doing this right but here is the link to chapter 20.
I spotted some mistakes when I went over it.
I corrected those but I'm sure there are more.

Regards,

Daniel T. Miller

Hi Daniel,

Your file seems to be okay, but could you reupload the file using the following file name lincolnhistoryvol1_20_haynicolay.mp3

My first (actually about seventh) pass at recording section 9. Please let me know what to improve, and I'm not above doing the whole thing again. Thanks all.

Jesse

I'm happy to take on the orphaned sections, 7 and 8. Assuming 9 is okay... Thanks.

Hi Jesse,

Section 09 is awaiting PL, but I have had a check of your file, and a quick listen. Everything appears to be okay, so I have put you down for section 7 & 8 :)
