COMPLETE: The Stones of Venice, v2, Ruskin-le
Hi Leni,
Probably by mistake you e-mailed me about Alan's upload of the 1st part of Chapter 3 of The Stones of Venice. I am not done but still working on my (2nd) part. No big problem so far, except that to be sure, this is not a very visually-impaired friendly project, for to comprehend it one has to have frequent recourse to the illustrations.
Until later, Fannie

Hi, Fannie
I am sure I haven't emailed you - maybe you have the notification for this thread turned on? Then they will send you an email whenever there is a post in the thread.

Hi Leni,
I have just uploaded my file at the URL: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/le/stonesofvenice2_04_ruskin.mp3
Its length is 34:52.000 and it is complete with its footnotes and appendices. However, the latter I read as footnotes whereas the footnotes 17 and 18 to which they respectively refer I read as explanations to the latin texts in order to reduce digression from the main theme as much as possible.
Waiting for your comments I wish you all the best
Fannie

Section 03:
Hi Alan!
- There's a short pause of ~5" at about 28:34 that could be shortened.
- It would benefit a lot from a noise-cleaning (it has a high-pitched hiss of some kind). Let us know if you would need help with that
Section 04: PL OK!

Hi Malone! Sections 10 and 11 are PL OK! There are some inconsistencies in the ID3 tags, but those can be adjusted at cataloging.
Hi Morgan! Sections 16 and 17 are PL OK! Well, section 17 has 10 seconds of end silence and it's a bit shorter than 30 minutes, so I'm not sure how strict in length this ending silence should be...
