OK! three more fabulous poets have been added to the menu for your delectation and enjoyment. Image

A Day in the Life of William Shakespeare 5400 words
A Day in the Life of Tennyson 4500 words
A Day in the Life of Robert Browning 5100 words

Lots of great poetry included in each and some are by different authors; i will try to list them later

Hey Phil, can I swap Lord Byron for Tennyson? Byron's getting me down, he's so depressing!

Cat :)

P.S. Just making sure you know, this hasn't got anything to do with Tennyson being 200 words shorter! :D

02 A Day With Samuel Taylor Coleridge

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/phi/dayswithgreatpoets_02_coleridge.mp3

Duration - 47:36

Whew! Very challenging. But I loved it. Not only the excerpts of his poetry, but the author's narrative around them was very well written and not the easiest to articulate and deliver with fluidity. Lovely to really read a piece where the prose as well as the poetry plays with the language. Thanks again for finding these gems, Phil!

You are too kind, good sir. I look forward to editing the other two, which are already recorded. But the editing and the patching, ... well, you know ...

Hi, Phil--

Here is my Section 08 (A Day With William Morris):
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/phi/dayswithgreatpoets_08_byron.mp3
55:02

I was beginning to be concerned that I wouldn't get the recording completed within our time limit (72 minutes?)--I don't read aloud very speedily, even if I consciously attempt to speed up. This one is my longest recording to date (very nearly 7000 words)--and I truly did enjoy it. Let me finish up some of my claims (I have another big one for Leni), and then I'll take another section. :)
Kind regards,
Lucretia

Thank you Lucretia. I have NEVER read something that long ... I am impressed. Ignatius, the Penguin of Happiness Image will put this into the Magic Window for proof listening.

And don't worry about time; this project will be here for a long time. It is just a big undertaking.

sorry, but it says "no file" when I try to download section 8... Phil, could you please check if there was a problem with the upload or if the URL is faulty? Thank you! :)
