Hi,

For Chapter 3, I am still hearing at 0:45 “In all the days when we went gipsying” for “In the days when we went gipsying.”

Chapter 21 is now PL OK!

Hi,
I've PLed another St John file chapter 34 and there's a little glitch:

At 4:11 A slight repeat: I heard “in in _S” in “one of the best connected and most estimable residents in _S, grandson and heir to Sir Frederic Granby.”

The rest of the file is outstanding.

Arrg!! I was doing final edits on my Mr. Mason files today, but alas, my audacity project got messed up somehow in the process and two of my chapters (tracks) are completely blank!! I don't know what happened. Hours of work down the drain! I was getting messages about orphaned data files or something. But I never deleted any data files. I've checked the data files and can't find the edits I made today. :help:

Anyway, just wanted to let you know where things stand. I'll see if I can recover them somehow. If not, I'll have to re-record. But it won't be today. I'm too fed up with it!

Eeek! That happens sometimes, unfortunately, thanks to the unpredictable nature of technology. I know how frustrating that can be! Thanks for letting me know your status.

Have edited Chapter 3 again - I doubt I can get it much clearer, as I know here and last time I definitely said 'in the' not 'in all the'

Alright. I finally re-recorded Mr. Mason and got them uploaded. Yay! :D
Btw, for the scream on chapter 20 (and for Mason's initial pleas for help), I ended up doing it from inside my closet with the mic in in the room outside it. That seemed to work as i made them sound like they were coming from a different location.

Please PL.

Hi,

I've PL'ed St John chap 35 file and it's PL OK Another very fine recording.

I've also PL'ed the complete chapter 11 file and there's no ending silence. Just add ten seconds of silence and this file will be all set.

More PL'ing tomorrow!
