I've noticed I have a repeat in my chap 23 -- I'll endeavor to fix that today and re-upload. I'll note here when that's done.
Ha - I'm cachinnating (learnt a new word from that chapter)... really? I thought it was rather screechy. Certainly not husky, as it should have been as per text. Cori had fun with the voice, too - chapter 25 is now linked from reader list!
(thanks for re-uploading your chap! I'm behind with the listening, have to confess, but all the recordings so far have been simply wonderful!)

I did Chapter 27 today and listened to it in my headphones. At two places I could hear a horn honking in the distance. Is it possible that I can remove it? It is mid sentence and I am almost positive that if I record it again, I'll never quite get it right. Please help.
And Gesine, I forgot to respond to that Audacity query. I don't hear metallic sound (yeah, listened using my headphones) but a faint "chink" noise every time paused to draw in breath. Shall provide the links of both versions (one with noise removed using Audacity and one without and wait for your suggestions)

Thanks very much, that's great! I'll download tomorrow. Re horn honking - don't worry at all, happens to me all the time too, and to lots of others. If everyone had to wait for dead silence prior to recording, we'd never get anything done! And in mid sentence editing just doesn't work. If I hear a loud sound whilst I read, often I repeat the sentence, but sometimes it's just not practical.
One thing you can do, though, next time you record something for LibriVox: read the first post carefully regarding ID3 tags and filenames, you'll get a lot of brownie points from BCs if you get them completely right! :) (don't worry about this time; I'll fix it) More feedback when I've downloaded...

Will use another uploading site the next time.
P.S.
I love brownies :P
Oh! I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me. I noticed that recently I received more files without underscores... It's not really a big thing, the filename is very easy to fix. The ID3 tags are more of a pain, and you got those perfectly right! You might try Mediafire.
I had a listen to your file - lovely reading. I do think the noise-cancelling can be heard (there's an artificial quality to the recording), but it's certainly good enough as it is, technically. Thanks again, and I hope you'll read another chapter! :)
