Oh no, I do appreciate and admire your thoroughness in bringing it up. :) I was just crossing my fingers in hopes that it would be a passing pronunciation. Lol. I have no qualms in correcting it to pass your inspection. :)

Don't feel bad - that word sucks even if you are a native English speaker! LOL!

Here is the upload of my revised recording of "Lydia - Act 2".

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/mb/prideandprejudice_lydia_2.mp3

Duration: 01:23

Crossing my fingers again in hopes that the reading is not "abominably ill".

But no matter, it was fun doing Lydia again, anyway. I just don't want to hold up the project.

2:47 - you said "looking at Jane quizically", which should be "looks at Jane quizically"
3:07 - you said "they are in traveling guess [...]", which should be "they are in traveling dress"
3:25 - you said "neither Wickham nor Lydia are in the least discomposed", which should be "neither wickham nor lydia is in the least discomposed
3:52 - you said "elizabeth looks most anxiously" which should be "elizabeth looks so anxious", there also some background noise in this part
4:11 - background noise, please rerecord this line

Please, no noise cleaning! We generally don't want drama files noise cleaned - so that when we edit we can noise clean it on the editors end, and make them all sound the same!

Or, in honor of the on-going Tom Swifties thread
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=40833

"No noise cleaning on drama files," hissed m8b1 noisily.

Here are Acts 1 and 3 for narration. I just edited Act II, but it seems to be giving me problems at the moment. I'll try to fix them as soon as possible.

Unfortunately I'll be on vacation for the next week, so I won't be able to get the second act/edited versions of acts 1,2, and 4 until the sunday after next (fortunately I should still be able to make the deadline).

Thanks

Lauren
