Hi guys. Just dropping in. It's been a long time since I recorded anything for librivox and this was a powerful poem.

Good morning all--

Am new to recording for Librivox, but got the green light from Ruth on my test recording, so here goes!!

My reading of the poem:

I am certainly open to any suggestions for improvement.

(What a blast to be participating with everyone on such a wonderful endeavor... :D )
Kind regards,
Lucretia

Hi, I forgot to put in my post how I would like my name read when credited. Robert Hoffman is fine. Thanks

Lucy,

Your section, 16, shows PL needed. I listened to it and it sounds really good to me.

You did make one small slip, it's not essential that you fix it:
0:35 Said: The endless trains of German troops Went trolling down to Trier. Should be: The endless trains of German troops Went rolling down to Trier.
If you do want to fix this, could you eliminate the spaces from your filename at the same time please.
Here is the recording with the 't' removed from "trolling".

I checked the file name and did not see the spaces. Will gladly fix. Could you be more specific for me?
Noticed this is still showing a slip, so reposting the correction...
Thanks!

Thank you to everyone who has contributed this week, we are a bit disorganized but cataloging has started. :D

note to Nebiscool... your file is too loud, the waveform should be just into the .5 range. there is a bit of clipping but not serious.

I've reduced the volume and applied some noise cleaning.
Pleas etake a listen and see the result.

Thank you for taking over in my absence aradlaw. And sorry to everyone I did not reply to. Thank you to everyone for your contributions.
So little space, so much to say.
