Wasuregusaniyosu by Michizou Tachihara (1914 - 1939) .
This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: http://librivox.org/wasuregusaniyosu-by-michizou-tachihara/
The author's first collection of poetries. It includes 10 sonnets.
立原道造の処女詩集です。10本のソネット(14行詩)を含みます。
  • Target completion date: 2012-Apr-30
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.aozora.gr.jp/cards/000011/files/889_20333.html
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Hello,

Let me explain why I can read this book.

http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Information_about_copyright_rules#Japan

>>Literary works of Japanese origin whose authors died on or before 31st >>December 1955 are in the public domain in the United States.

This book includes only 10 sonnets. Is it OK?

Cheers,

Masa

Masa San,

this is a nice project! And it's perfectly public domain, so you can do it without problems.

As you want to record it in Japanese, you can also translate the intro/outro information and say it in Japanese. I think this is better than doing it in English. I have searched for a translation, but I could not find anything written down... However, here are two projects where the reader says the intro/outro in Japanese:

This Multilingual Collection contains several works in Japanese:
http://librivox.org/librivox-multilingual-short-works-collection-001-by-various/
And here is a very old solo:
http://librivox.org/ogura-hyakunin-isshu-by-fujiwara-no-teika/

Both projects may not have the exact intro/outro you'll need, but you can have a listen...

It would be great if you could change the first post and write the intro/outro in Japanese, so that we have a written form for the next time.

Thanks! :D
Cheers, Ava.

Hello Availle san,

Thank you very much for your advice. I've translated the disclaimer into Japanese.

Start of the book
こちらはリブリヴォックスです。リブリヴォックスの録音は総て、パブリックドメインで
す。ボランティアについてなど、詳しくはサイトをご覧下さい。URL: librivox dot org

Start of the poetry
Librivox dot org の為に録音されました。

End of th poetry
詩終わり。この録音はパブリックドメインです。

Masa

OK, your project can start.
We need a DPL. Let's hope someone jumps in.

Hello Masa san,

Thank you for the summary. I'll add it to the catalog as soon as I'm home (I'm at school now).
We do not have a DPL yet, but that shouldn't stop you from starting.
Later this week I shall advertise for a DPL. Just start recording and send your recordings to the uploader.

Hello Bart san and Proof-Listener san,
This is basically for my record.
Today I uploaded No 3,4, & 5 poem.

Today I've found an error at Wikipedia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michiz%C5%8D_Tachihara

>> In 1927, Michizō entered Morioka Third High School
He entered Tokyo Third High School (東京府立第三中学).

Famous poets went to Morioka High School. So maybe they confused.

Hi Bart and Ekzemplaro!

I'd like to PL, but I would need all the text to be in hiragana so that I will be able to read it.
Is it okay with you guys? I'm not a native speaker but I'm currently learning the language.

Hello April san,
Thank you for your offer. For me it's OK. I can prepare hiragana texts.
Hiragana texts are useful for other people. So when they are ready, I'll put
URL heres.

Cheers,
Masa

Hello April san,

Of course I don't mind. Welcome to the project.
And I hope you can do more for us.
It would be great to have more Japanese books in our catalog.
