Hi Kristin -

This should be enough for the Fourth Spirit - I plan to do the chorus lines a bit differently. If I need anything else for Fourth Spirit, I'll let you know. Thank you!

Okay, so do you need the "all spirits" lines?

Here are my two little parts! I read the 'all spirits' lines in the spirit file--feel free to use or not as you prefer.

Thanks, Arielle - much appreciated! :)

And Kristin, don't worry about the "all spirits" bits - I think I'm going to do a chorus-like effect with Snapdragon's file, so I don't have to worry about mixing all these different readings together.

PL and editing update: all files that I've PL'd are marked PL OK in the MW. Nice job, everyone!

Act 3 is done (see above), and Act 1 is completely edited apart from Fifth Spirit. Act 2 is edited up to the entrance of the Second and Third Destinies in Act 2 Scene 3. So nearly there! :)

And Act 2:

Need to give a final PL to these and then should have this cataloged by mid-week or so.

Hello Manfred fans,

I did an alternative edit of Manfred, directly based on gloriana's librivox version. Previously, I was aiming to do a PD version but I passed the editing duties on and gloriana completed it. Later, I changed to aim for a CC-BY licensed result with enables a broader range of materials to be used. The edit includes sound effects, music, minor re-recording and has many small tweaks to timings and volumes. I think having both the no sound effects and with sound effects is actually better than having a single version. Of course, I expect many listeners will prefer the librivox edit, and that's fine. I guess I am more used to dramatisations and plays having sound effects included (as is typically done on BBC Radio 4).

Thanks again to all the readers. I think the results are great!

Regards,

Tim
