You could try EQ on this one, if you like.
Basically, look at it objectively: would you want to listen to X hours of this?
If you don't want to mess with it much more, I will catalog it as-is. (The second recording was much better for volume.) But we might get comments about the quality.

heehee!!! I know exactly what I did! While I recorded this particular chunk, I remember I had an active house and lots of background fuzzy noise was going on. I played the one I sent you with the other sections, which I recorded peacefully at night. The other ones doesn't have the same weird distortion, and noise. But yes, it sounds really distorted and some of the words are difficult to make out. Let me re-record it real quick. It took about 15 minutes, so it's no big deal.

Well, I think it should go first. "Preface" is something that comes before the main text. But if you're using the Gutenberg text, you'd be "legal" to put them at the end since they did.
Did you read from the mythfolklore.net site or from the Gutenberg site?

You upload it the normal way, then put the link in the Magic Window yourself (plus the section title in the title column, and the file duration in the notes column). See the instructions in the link I sent you.

Moving this to Going Solo. We can work out any further wrinkles in there.
