Hi Sue,

19 is okay. I can't imagine traveling with a fever like that, especially in the heat. Must have been horrible.

Hi Hugh, If you thought health issues were bad in the last chapter . . .
In another edition of the "Travels," there is a bio of Stephens written by Catherwood, who says that Stephens finally died (at age 47) from some kind of tropical fever; (Stephens founded a railroad company to cross the Isthmus a few years after this trip).

Hi Sue,

Section 22 is Okay.

We are getting close to the end of volume 1, just a friendly reminder that I have first dibs to PL Volume 2.

Hugh, your most welcome offer to PL volume 2 is greatfully accepted. Thanks so much!! :D

Jo, I have the cover for volume 1 ready (with credits to both you and Hugh for your MCing and PLing!) and am just waiting to see how much the recording time will be. If it makes sense, I could post it here, when we finish this volume? Are you still willing to MC volume 2? If so, I think it will need 31 sections. (I started out with vol 1 thinking I could read 20 pgs. per section and soon cut that back to 15).

Regards to you both,

Yes do post the cover when you finish and I can add it to the catalog page right from the start. :) I'm happy to MC volume 2 for you, just add a note when you post in the LaunchPad that I've agreed to MC and Hugh will be DPL.
