Why are theses flac and not mp3?

FLAC is lossless. MP3's, when you open them and then re-encode them, they lose quality.

I've been struggling with these for a couple of days now. For some reason I can't open them. I receive an error "Audacity did not recognize the type of the file. If it is uncompressed, try importing it using "Import Raw". I tried that as well, and let me tell you...it's not pretty.

Any chance you can try exporting again or just go ahead and send the mp3 version.
