Hi Todd,
Wonderful to have you. Thanks for claiming. Melky is a great role however he can be a bit colorful at times, please take a look at chapter 12, page 3, 2nd set of lines to be sure you will be ok with this role.
Be well,
Linny

Wonderful news. Thank you for taking the role.

I couldn't agree more about the attitudes. It's amazing what was acceptable such a short time ago.

Have fun with the role. He's a great character.

Hi Ernst,
Thank you for claiming.

Thanks for the good wishes, this is the largest dramatic project I've done so far and I'm very excited about it. Thanks for helping out. I appreciate it.

Hi,

Can I please read Miss Elsie Bennett, the governess? I haven't recorded anything yet, but it doesn't look like too huge a part for a first try, if that's okay?

Hello and welcome to LibriVox.

I'll put you done for the role but before you record I really recommend conducting your 1 minute test (it's really only about 30 seconds). It's not an audition but it will confirm all of your technical settings and give you assistance if you are having any problems (background noise, volume, clipping, etc). Since the test recording is so short it wouldn't be near a frustrating for you if you need to submit a few versions to get everything correct. I'd hate for you to record your role and then find there was a problem which requires you to record over again.

Brilliant thanks. I'll certainly do the test first - I have a couple of mics so it would be good to see if my preferred one records well enough before doing anything 'for real'.

Thanks again!
