I used three voices for this, maybe it's too much, let me know if I should cut it back to two.

Finished recording yesterday morning. I need to sync everything up now.

sadclown - thanks! I think the 3 voices sound good... I can actually imagine that I hear a daughter, mother, and grandmother. Great job. :)

cubistdog - thanks for the update and all your work on this. Looking forward to hearing the old men. ;)

Wow, thanks! That was what I was going for, but I wasn't sure if it would come through.

I know we're mostly all-submitted at this point anyway... We're implementing a new guideline for Dramatic Works projects.

WAV files are huge and fill up the Uploader pretty fast. I'd like to request for all future files to be submitted as MP3s.

Do keep a .WAV copy of your file around on your own computer; if smijen decides she needs it (from what I've heard, WAVs noise-clean easier), she'll ask you for it. It'd be great if you can hang on to the WAV until the project is catalogued.

Thank you!

should I submit my part in chunks as they are ready, or should I do it all together when I'm done?

Hi Colin - I don't think it matters too much either way. Please do whatever's easiest for you... remembering that mp3's are the way to go now.

Here's what I've got so far for the old men:

Part 1 (this is just the first speach):

Part 2:

I am making progress.

smijen wrote:Er, yeah, it's been kind of slow around here... and I was doing so well while Caet was away. Anyway, there's no point doing anything with the third play (Furies) since I have it all slapped together now except for sadclown's part.

Could you perhaps PL Jc's part(s), and also render your opinion... do you think we can edit these together and use them for the chorus of women, or should we add one more voice?

Thanks so much for the offer!
I tried to open the files, but my software doesn't read FLAC files. I don't have audacity yet, but could download it at some point...

There's a page full of links to programs that convert FLAC to other files here:

http://www.mymusictools.com/download/flac-converter/

Or, there's a tutorial on using WinAmp to convert FLAC file to MP3 files here:

http://www.simplehelp.net/2006/08/14/how-to-convert-flac-files-to-mp3-using-windows/

Hope this helps!

Here is Aegisthis' attendent (Slave)-

Is it complete? I noticed only 3 speeches. (Not that I'm looking for more...)
