PL for sections 4 and 5:

Lovely voice. We do need to fix a few little things, though.

Section 4
. Album TAG: "Gentle Measures" would be enough as I'm not sure how Tricia is going to catalogue it.
. we need to add a bit more silence at the end so as to get to 5 seconds.
. @2:35 "they may pass into each other by insensible gradations" I seem to hear something like "gradiations"
. @4:28 "when he is hurt or when he is frightened, we have reason to suspect..." there's a stumble here.
. @6.11 - the pause is a bit too long
. @7:01 "or upon her having inculcated upon their minds in any way the necessity" there's a stumble here
. @7:33 - the pause is a bit too long
. @15:54 "will say that such management as this is mere trifling and play" read "more"

Section 5
Beautifully read. Just some minor edits.
. @ 01:58 "perhaps only for a time, finds that the child or children put under his..." is missing
. @ 06:37 "and you were right in that" is missing
. @08:57 - the pause is a bit too long

Hi, Debra,

Here are PL notes for sections 9 and 10

. ID TAGS:
for title TAG, the section number would be enough as I'm not sure how Tricia wants to catalogue this project (this is for both files).
For section 10, both Name and Author TAGS are wrong

and the other Tag should be left blank.

. The volume for both sections is quite low but there's clipping on both. try using the compressor effect from Audacity to level the volume. Tricia posted the video link some time ago and I've found it very useful. Video instructions are here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fKYYj6HMZU

You can also sort out the peaks one by one before amplifying.

. I like listening to your readings but I think you are too close to the mic which causes a few distortions in sound. For future reference, try moving your mic away from you a bit. I think your voice will come through a lot clearer.

Section 9:
. TAGs (check above)
. needs amplification but clipping must be sorted out first
. trim silence at the beginning and add silence at the end so as to follow the recommendations on the first post
. @14:00 the numbers for the three practical directions are missing.
"1. Relinquish entirely the idea of expecting children..."
"2. If the children have already formed..."
"3. Instead of this, begin without saying..."

Section 10
