3:07.1, 89.4 dB - recorded using the same technology as 101 - iPhone, iPhone headphones/mic, TWRecorder app, Audacity. To me it sounds duller than the chapters recorded with the Blue Snowball, but probably acceptable for an amateur recording when no other technology is available (which is why I tried it). If I were listening with the aim of going to sleep this might be preferred.

I can understand the "duller" comment. I might say "muted." Very acceptable, just a bit different.
