Hi Sarah,

Section 18 is ready. 25:46. I was tongue-tied with this one, but I hope the final edit doesn't show it too much!

Thanks!

That was just fine! I can see why you were tongue-tied on this chapter. Even more Latin names than usual, I think. :)

Hi Everyone,

Sections 14 and 16 have been orphaned. Section 8 looks like it may be soon, too.
Hopefully we will finish this soon. It is coming up on a year since launch.

Have a good day!
-Amy

Hi Carol,

I'm not sure what you were planning on doing for your final edit so my feedback may not be needed. It is very quiet and will need to be amplified by @10. The silence at the beginning should be one second. The silence at the end should be five seconds. Within the reading, silences should not exceed 2 seconds, really less than 1.5 would be better. The ID3 tag for the title should be copied from the Magic Window, so that for this file would be: 12-CHAPTER XI Part One October
Your reading style is wonderful and your Tech specs are fine.

I hope that helps. I look forward to the final edit.
Thanks!

Thanks for the help! Here's hopefully the completed section!
file duration 14:16 :P

i amplified as much as the program would allow, which was x8.3. guess i am quieter than i think. such a relaxing read, though!

Hi Carol,

Sarah noticed your file was 11 instead of 12. I renamed it. Please be careful with the names. It can mess things up. It is easy to do when the chapter number is different from the section number. Just a heads up.

Thanks again, Sarah!

Section 12 PL notes:
-after the intro, there is a very long silence (0:31-0:39) that should be edited down to 1-2 seconds at most
-after this long silence, "Chapter One, October" is repeated; could just begin reading at this point

Both easy edits! :)
