i have a pl note for section 11: it is too quiet! and did you noiseclean?, because the sound of your voice is a bit strange and i suppose such a sound is mostly caused by excessive noisecleaning. still, there is occasional background noise i suppose that is a waterpipe? i hear it in my room too when one of my flatmates is in the shower and it sounds similar.

If you have an uncleaned version I could have a listen - or if not I will have a look at the one we havehearmeout7 wrote:Here is the last section. Section 11: duration: 14:37.

I've had a listen - nothing to add to Carolin.s comment really
Could you tell me what Audacity Version you are using and did you noise clean, I'm sure we should be able to get you a nicer voice for next time

I am currently using Audacity 1.3.13-beta. I did do noise cleaning. I was hearing too much excess noise in the background.

I think you might have been a bit heavy handed - if you have a uncleaned version I could try , but otherwise for your next reading just take it a bit more gently - it is alright to have some background noise - in fact as someone else said , it is nice to know the reader is alive sometimes it is better to give it a light clean, listen, then repeat and if you notice you are losing some of your voice use edit - undo to go back a step
And it is a good idea to export you raw file as a .flac - then you have something to fall back on.
