Hi

Here's my second contribution. When I first read this as a boy, I kept repeating aloud the last four lines because I couldn't believe that words could be so beautiful:

Title - Come Down, O Maid (from "The Princess")
Author - Alfred Lord Tennyson (1809-1892)
Text URL - http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/come-down-o-maid-2/

MP3 URL - http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/tg/comedownomaid_tennyson_mg.mp3
Duration - 02:48

Regards
Martin

Hi Tricia,

This was too late for the weekly poetry as I'd edited out a line and it took some time to match the voice!
Would you like to include it here?

Something Childish, but Very Natural, by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, 1772-1834.

MP3 URL: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/tg/somethingchildish_coleridge_cb..mp3

Duration 1:02.5

Thank you,

Carol

Trying to get back into this, so I hope it sounds good! Not a lot of time these days, but I hope to participate as much as possible.

FINIS: OK

Rose Alymer: Volume too low - needs to be amped by about 5 dB.

Something Childish: Extra dot in the file name. :) Otherwise OK. I'll fix this in the uploader; no need to redo.

When We Two Parted: OK!

The Man Against the Sky by Edwin Arlington Robinson (1869-1935)
Text URL: http://www.bartleby.com/233/126.html
MP3 URL: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/tg/managainstthesky_robinson_bkh.mp3
Duration: 15:37

I did a noisecleaning on the recording and shortened the silences, but I don't know how to remove the clicks from the middle of words. I tried click removal, but it didn't help.
