Teddy's Button by Amy LeFeuvre (1861 - 1929) .

This project is now complete. All audio files can be found on our catalog page here:

http://librivox.org/teddys-button-by-amy-lefeuvre-2/

Teddy loves to tell the story of how his father heroically died on the battlefield and guards his button jealously. But this brings contention and strife when a new girl comes to town. Teddy begins to learn what it means to be a soldier under Christ, his Captain. (Summary by GabrielleC)
  • Target completion date: 2012-Sep-12 (already completed)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/10880
  • Type of proof-listening required: standard
  • This is a second recording of this book.
IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

I'm a bit confused here - when you made the coverart did you make it for this or for the existing project ? At the moment it has been added to the existing project - it can be changed but I need to be sure what you intended ?

Both, I guess.

There wasn't any art before, but can the art be the same for both recordings?

Hi, if you like I can be your DPL for this project, I always loved this book, I have not read to it for a long time, and this would be a good opportunity :)

That would be great. Thanks for volunteering. It's a family favorite for us too.

Well the proof listening is done. There was only that one section with any problems. I can listen to it again when it is fixed up :)

Track 7 is good, no problems at all :D

I just realized when logged on that I had taken the time off of each recording  Do you want me to put them back on?
