Hello,

I am a first time reader and have reviewed the source text quickly. I would be pleased to read Chapter 06 (On Reason and Imagination).

I would be fine with being listed as Melanie for the reader name (if there is not another Melanie).

Melanie

Hello, Melanie, and welcome to Librivox

Thank you for your interest in this project! I have assigned you section 06. However, since this would be your first recording for Librivox, we suggest you do the 1-minute test ( http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test ), so we can make sure all the technical aspects are ok. Please post your test in the Listeners and Editors Wanted forum, for faster feedback.

I am sorry it took me so long to reply to your message - it usually does not take me this long. Somehow this post just escaped me.

Thanks again! :)

I'm afraid I won't be able to do these before the 2 month deadline, due to sudden plans of my husband and me to move to a different city (which will happen in June + holiday beginning of July). I do not wish to delay this project, therefore I kindly ask you to take away my name from these sections. In case they would still be there when I'm fully available for Librivox again, I'll claim them again (but if anyone else wishes to read them: do not hesitate to claim!).

Hi Leni,

I would like to read sections 1 and 2 "On the Prose Style of Poets," please. May I?

The Internet Archive full text format pastes up with some confusing arrangements but I think I can figure out the flow of the actual essay. I'm assuming that we are not reading the footnotes? Is that right?

This is a great project!

Hi, Bob!

Thanks for your interest in the project! The first two sections are yours.

I usually do not use the full text option in archive, because it's a machine-generated file, with a lot of strange stuff. I prefer the image formats, pdf or dj-vu.

Regarding the footnotes, no, they don't need to be read, unless there's a particularly interesting one you think would add to the text.

Thanks again!

May I have a go at sections 8 and 9 (On Londoners and Country People)?

I'm a recent arrival at Librivox, but I've put up a test and a couple of poetry readings.
