I will be on vacation from Nov 4- Nov 15. (First time I've had more than a week off of work in 7 years *swoon*). First thing I will do when I come back on Nov. 16 is check Librivox! If anything else is uploaded this week I will try and listen to it, but after Friday I will be absent.

Oh and I still need to PL my own sections. I'm going to try and get to that this week.

Hi Jeanny,
I would love to join your merry band and take section 20.
Very interesting book, I'll have to look up the movie.

Thanks Anne.
I’ll be away from the mic for a couple of weeks, but I’ll be glad to take chapter 21 if no one else wants it sooner.

By the by, I am more than willing to take instruction on the pronunciation of some of the names in these chapters.

Lewis,

Just a little FYI, there were 3 movies made, one in 1939 starring John Clements, Ralph Richardson, and C.Aubrey Smith, one in 1977 starring Beau Bridges, and one in 2002 starring Heath Ledger, Wes Bentley, and Kate Hudson. Both the 1939 and 2002 versions follow the book pretty well, but my personal favorite is the classic 1939 version. It was made in Britain and you can find it on youtube. I've never seen the 1977 version (possibly made for TV?), and imdb has no info on it.

I found the imdb page on the 1978 version. It was made for TV and starred Beau Bridges, Robert Powell, Simon Ward and Jane Seymour as Ethne. It, also was made in the UK.

Thanks David,
I'll try to find the '39 version first. Appreciate the research.

Just a quick note to say I haven't forgotten Chapter 3. I've just been swamped with graduate school work and a new job. I should get Chapter 3 posted in a couple of weeks.
