Hi Rachel,
I can't remember when Phil and I claimed the last section, but I just wanted to let you know it has been done for about 2 weeks except for one line that I forgot to read! As soon as there's a quiet moment in my house, I'll fix that...

I would like to sign up for section 29
Thank you!
It's yours! Welcome to Librivox. How would you like to be credited in the catalog?

If you'd like to do a test recording to make sure your settings and technical stuff are all in order and good to go, there are instructions for that here: http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test . It's encouraged but certainly not required. :)

Rachel
Thank you :D I am excited to participate in this project!
I would like to be credited as "Teresa B." in the catalog.
I am working on the test recording, I have just posted the newest version of it in the forums-just waiting for the "ok" to start recording :)

Story 27 - The Understanding of Sister Sara
Time - 20:37

I loved this story - it was about Anne's (Green Gables) parents, Walter and Bertha (Beatrice) before they were married. :)

Hi everyone,

We have internet problems at home currently, so I am unable to download these for PL. It might be a few more days before we are back up - but I will PL them as soon as we are connected again!

I signed up for #20 The Fraser Scholarship back in April. My first take was soooo horrible I couldn't look at a microphone for weeks. So I'm back, ready to take anotherb shot. Is it still mine? JOHN

We haven't reassigned any sections yet, so yes, it's still yours. :) (The catalog is down right now, so we can't check our MWs.)

Ok so here's the recording.

I am a little concerned about the quality of the recording. Please let me know if it still needs work.

I am very concerned about the quality of the reading and find myself wandering about the house muttering things like, "First effort" and "Well you tried..." Still I no longer feel like throwing my microphone away so I'm calling that progress. Thanks JOHN

You're... you're kidding, right? Mutter no more. You did a wonderful job! I am listening right now and enjoying it very much.

(And anyway, even if it were otherwise, Librivox has an awesome and very accepting policy: Is it audible? Is it comprehensible? It goes in the project. There are no auditions. We're glad to have everyone.)
