Thanks for taking care of this, annise. I was busy last weekend for obvious reasons.
And thank you, Andrzej, for your second submission.

I'm orphaning section 19, "The Ripening Rubies", and I'd also like to know if anyone is interested in taking over this project as a book coordinator.
Also, if anyone is interested in doing the second of the planned 'volumes', I've already assembled a list of the planned chapters with suggested section divisions.

Hi Anne (and Nullifidian, if you're still tracking the thread),
Sorry about the delay in PL'ing section 23. I'll try to have the notes posted by mid-week.
Do we have a new BC, yet?
Also: I'm no longer getting notifications of messages in this thread.

Since nobody has decided to step in as BC, may I return to that role?
I've been second thoughts about leaving for a while, and now I think it's time to own up to them instead of staying away out of a foolish sense that I need to be consistent about this. To be honest, I feel a little bit embarrassed, but better to brave that out than lose a pastime I enjoyed just because I got down on myself.

Thanks!
And since I'm back, I'll also probably be BCing that second volume of Rivals too after this one is finished.

Section 23 Editing Notes
Very nice, precise reading, Andrzej.
There were two minor problems with the outro.
30:35 Missing end of book outro. After "End of the Tilling Shaw Mystery, by Ernest Bramah" please add: "and end of The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, Volume 1"
30:39 Please add 5 or 6 seconds of silence at the end of your recording credit (by convention, LibriVox Sections longer than 30 minutes should have 10 seconds of silence at the end).
Thanks!

Welcome back, Nullifidian. Now that we have a full list of readers again, can we please make a push to finish up this collection? I'll try to be quicker on the Proof-listening when you submit your sections.

I haven't had time to keep as firm check as I like on this - but I suggest a PM to netfarer now - , see how he is going - and as he is a newbie and not submitted anything yet , if he doesn't answer by the weekend ,, orphan them and post in the orphans threadNullifidian wrote:Thanks!

And maybe a reminder to the other long time claimant just to see how he is going with his second section

Okay, those sound like good suggestions, and I'll get my own section done soon. I'll probably have to do it in parts, but I think I should have it finished by this weekend at least. That will give me around three or four days starting tomorrow.
Edited to add: All PMs sent.
