Yes I'm surprised there haven't been more volunteers. It's quite an interesting book. Can I take another two chapters please? How about 3 & 4?

Thank you, Andy, and welcome back :D
It's been so slow lately that I even had considered finishing it as a solo. The problem is, I am doing it as a solo in French already, and I'm not sure I'd ever finish a solo in English
There are another 9 volumes I think, we should be done when I'm a Grandma (my kids are less than 10 years old)

Here is Chapter 18 - The Isle Adam:

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/neb/mysteriesofparis_01_18_sue.mp3

it is 12 minutes 57 seconds; and

Chapter 19 - The Recompense:

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/neb/mysteriesofparis_01_19_sue.mp3

it is 18 minutes 20 seconds.

Might I also tackle chapters Chapter 16 - The Sick-Nurse and Chapter 17 - The Punishment?

Thank you, Jim, they're both very nicely read and PL OK! I edited the same section today myself (am soloing this in French), so I got a feeling of deja vu
16 and 17 are yours too :D

Well, don't worry, you're not the first one :D I know you record fast, so I would not have been too surprised if you were done already
