Hi Sandra and Neeru,

I edited chapter one for you, although it was such a clean recording the only thing I had to do was remove one repeat and lessen the silence in just a couple of places. Technically I amplified and did a light noise cleaning. If it meets with your approval I'll be glad to check in as I have time to lend a hand here. You have a lovely voice and reading style! It was such a pleasure to listen to you. :D

Hello,
thank you for editing and amplifying chapter one so well Laura, it was a lovely surprise! The automatic email notifyer hasn't said a word to me over the last week about this thread, that's my excuse. There's a line I need to redo and that'll be in the thread tomorrow evening. Since I'm here, I'll give you an update Neeru. I have recorded the first fourteen chapters and have made a start on chapter fifteen. I tend to take out the bulk of my mistakes before I upload, which takes me ages. By the end of this month, the first fifteen chapters will be in the magic window, ready for adjustments. Thank you for proof listening to it as well Neeru.

All,Sandra.

Ah Thank you so much Neeru! Do you remember me proof listening to your files ages ago for that gothic book? You were wonderful!

Laura, if you're still here, I'd really like it if you could insert the following line:
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/ni/first-violin-chapter_bits.wav

It comes just after
"What did/does it matter if Miss Hallem thgouth I were happy or not." (Well something like that. The line that needs replacing is
"She was asking me all these questions to pass the time." There was a glitch in the programme at that point when I said it, either that or the microphone's wire jumped. Anyway, whatever the problem was, it just sounds like I edited it badly ha ha ha! There's a second line in the file but don't worry about it, that's for another chapter. I'm trying to put all the odds and ends into one file so that I don't go mad. This book is very long! I do hope you'd like to edit some more or, if not, I hope you'll listen to the book when it's all finished.

All the best,
Sandra.

New file uploaded with the edited line, "She was asking me all these questions to pass the time" Would you or Neeru spot check it to make sure it uploaded correctly? The time stamp is @7:28.

Thank you very much Laura for putting up with my perfectionism. Thanks for double checking it for me Neeru. Here's the link for chapter two for Kimberly to work her magic on. It's in WAV just for you Kim:

I'll be back later on with chapter three. It's nice and short with an arguement in it and everything. Laura, I'd really like you to work your magic on it only if you'd like to.

All the best,
Sandra.

Thank you Laura,
that was extremely quick. Here's chapter four. I've done my best with the Braillenote clicks but, as always, any more help with that is greatly appreciated. Here goes nothing:

I only noticed the clicks in a couple of places and I edited them out. Lovely reading, as always! :D Chapter 4 is ready for a PL.
