Last Ten Verses

Tina;

As today is the 20th, I presume that this collection will close )as you indicated in your post last week).

I hope that you enjoy your time off from work.

Thank-you for your work on this collection.

Regards,

Doug

Hi Everyone! ... I'm going to help Tina finish up this collection... but it will take me a couple of days to get caught up after my vacation...

If you have a work in progress, now's the time to finish it up and submit it... I'd like to have this cataloged during the first week of December...

Meanwhile, we'll move this thread over to Readers Found so we don't have a bunch of new projects added to it at the last minute =)

The King James Version and the world english bible are both public domain.

Enjoy.

I've just set up a Dramatic Works thread for 'Cornish Christmas Play - 1833'. This is a mummers play, just like the one in Return of the Native - St George, a Dragon, a Turkish Knight, Father Christmas, quack doctor and all.

When complete, it'll be offered up for the collection. Hopefully it won't take long to do, as long as we get some readers in! (Hint hint).

etext:- http://www.folkplay.info/Texts/83s---sw.htm

File:- http://www.earthcallingdavid.com/librivox/cornishchristmasplay_sandys.mp3

The LibriVox Players are:-

Narrator - Starlite
Turkish Knight - kristin
Father Christmas - Henry
King of Egypt - mattw

I've no idea how this ought to be credited in the catalogue. It was too much fun to think about that kind of detail!

Please double check!!!
I've compiled the list of completed recordings for this collection and added the updated list to the first post of this thread.... please look at it and be sure that your name is next to the ones you recorded.

There are a couple of files that I am still tracking down that were posted but the yousendit link has expired...

Doug: I'm going to catalog yours as a single collection =)

Thank you Mike!

Two questions for you:

1. Do you have a link for the online text you read from? (If this is from a Bible verse, also the book/chapter:verse.)

2. How would you like your name to appear in the catalog? (do you have a URL you would like associated with your name.)

Hi Betsie,

Link for World English Bible:- http://ebible.org/bible/web/

I read the following verses:

Luke 1 v 26 - 38
Matthew 1 v 18 - 24
Luke 2 v 1 - 20
John 1 v 1 - 18

Re name ... what do most people do? Do they use their screen handle (in my case "acclivity") ?

For a URL for me, you could use this:- http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/usersViewSingle.php?id=37876
which is my entry on the "Freesound" project, where I seem to spend most of my life!

Thank you for the link and the chapter info.

As for your name... you may do whatever makes you comfortable... some people prefer to keep their identity private and use their forum names or another psuedonym... some people prefer the world to know their real names.... either way is completely acceptable.... let me know what you decide =)

Would the real Douglas Nathaniel Williams please stand up!
