Hi!

I'd love to read for sections 9, 18 and 32! (If those are the ones left available!) My friends and I are getting together later today, and we'd love to all have different parts to play! Thanks so much!

Sincerely,

Jessica

Hi Jessica, and welcome to LibriVox! I'd be happy to have you read one of those roles, but not all - perhaps the Boy? I'd prefer that Young Scrooge and Peter Cratchit be read by male readers (albeit youngish-sounding ones).

If your friends would like to read as well, that's great - but we would need them to sign up for LibriVox as well, following the same process that you've done.

We recommend that all new readers read the Newbie guide to recording:

http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Newbie_Guide_to_Recording

and also do a short test recording, post it to the Listeners Wanted forum, and get some feedback on your technical settings. If you'd like to do this, I'll hold the role of the Boy for you until you get the test recording in.

Thanks!

Are you still short of a "Young Scrooge"?
I think I could do a young "ish" voice :)

Ecky thump!

I've just noticed this project (been away for a while)
Is the young boy (or female) voice, section 32 still available? I wouldn't mind having a go! :)
Kind regards
