Wow this one's coming along fast! In case you hadn't heard, Xander, Mermaid Maddie is very ill. She really wants to read her chapters when she's better, though, so let's be patient and wait for her, if you don't mind :)

@kayray I had not heard that Mermaid Maddie was sick. :( We will most certainly wait for her to recover to record her chapter.

Does anyone know anything about johngon or MermaidMaddie?? I just want to check on their progress. I PMed the both a couple of days ago and haven't received a reply. I just want to see how things are progressing, no rush.

Don't worry. They are both regulars and will be back.

MermaidMaddie has been very ill but I expect she will be back.

I have received word that 15 and 16 have been orphaned. They are now up for grabs if anyone wants them. It seems that MermaidMaddie is still ill. We will gladly wait for her to recover.

You can make a post in the "orphaned chapters" thread in "Readers wanted" pointing people here, if you like!

And oh my goodness, I have not added this project to the database nor provided you with a Magic Window yet! I'll try to do that today.

Ok, Magic Window added -- I can't remember if you already know how to edit it, Xander! Don't worry, it's easy. I have to go make breakfast but I'll be back to assist you later :)

I've just recorded XV for you - I'll upload it very shortly. Hope that's OK.

I've no idea what this book is about but my chapter was horrid!

Thanks for taking a chapter. What exactly do you mean by "horrid?" The book can be a little graphic at times, but I don't exactly remember anything "horrid." Maybe reading it out of context gave you the wrong impression?

Well, the very idea of sub-human animal creatures is a wee bit nasty, isn't it? Bear (!) in mind I had no idea at all what this book was about until half an hour ago!

The file will be at www.alexfoster.me.uk/librivox/ in about 15 mins.
