Thank you, Stephanie! I'm sure it's good - we're all our worst critics. I should be able to PL it in the next day or two.

Section 8

Volume is a bit low overall. If you take the whole recording and do an Effect > Leveler set to Moderate, it'll be in a good volume range. :)

4:01 - "the secret of his presence..." Repeated at 4:08

24:00 - a bit of a pause that can be cut down

Very well read! Very much acceptable. Thanks!

Sounds great, thank you! I see this is your first post on the forums ... you may want to record a one-minute test to make sure your settings are correct - it's discouraging if you record a whole chapter and then figure out something's wrong. :) Also, I need to know how you would like to be credited in the catalog, and if you have a url you'd like us to link to. Thanks! :D

I am working on chapter 14, and I have a question about the bible verse reference in parenthesis (the first one is at the bottom of the first printed out page). Do I read these? In the print off this is in red, so I guess it made me wonder.

Also, you can credit me as Carol Kutcher. URL is http://www.CarolKutcherSpeaking.com. Hope to be done by Thursday!

Thanks so much for helping out, Carol ... I really appreciate it. :) Yes, let's read the references in parentheses. They are a different color in the text, but I think it would make sense to include them so people know what is being quoted. Thanks!

edit: Aaaaand, you now have your own catalog page! :) https://catalog.librivox.org/people_public.php?peopleid=6789 Plus, you're reader 6789 ... which is very cool. B-)

Hi Carol,

Well done! It's quite a task when you're new isn't it? This was my first project, too.

Have you had a look at Phil Chenevert's videos? They have lots of helpful information and are easy to understand http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/User:Philchenevert

Also you will find the wiki pages useful - the link is at the top of the page, above where you log in.
Best wishes

Carol
