HI there,

I'd like to claim section 10 - Mrs. Blewett and 24 - Lady if that's ok with you... :D
Cheers, Ava.

Here's the first four chapters of Marilla:

All my files will likely need noise cleaning and normalizing, but I'm leaving that up to you at the editing stage... Please let me know if you'd like anything re-recorded.

I would love a part in this one. It's a book I've long meant to read and never gotten around to. Reading a character in it would be a wonderful excuse!

Oh, you're missing out if you've never read it. I've read this book at least once a year since I was 8 years old. Pick a role, any role!

I guess I'll take Mrs. Lynde, then. Who knows, I might have a new favorite book after this! It's happened before. :D

Oh, decisions, decisions. I can't seem to decide between Mrs. Rachel Lynde or Mrs. Barry. Their characters are so different. I would love to read Rachel but I think I'll ask for the smaller role of Mrs. Barry.

edit: hehe, well that worked out well.

Hi all!

I'd be interested in Josephine Berry for chapter 6!

Cheers,

Hi! I love Anne of Green Gables, and I'd love to read Diana Barry if you still need someone.

Psychosoprano, welcome to Librivox! I will put you down for Diana. Please read the first post of this thread very carefully, as it has a lot of important information you'll need to make your first recording. The first place to start is the Guide to Recording, which tells you how to set up your computer to record. Once you've done that, you can post a short test recording in the Listeners & Editors Wanted section of the forums. This is NOT an audition, but a way to check to make sure all your technical settings are correct, your volume loud enough, etc.

Please also let me know what name you'd like to go by in the catalog--some people use their real names, some don't, it's up to you.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, either here or in the Newbie forum.
