I LOVE Gerard Manley Hopkins.

I did a whole gymongous english piece on him. Binsey Poplars is my favourite, I may add.

Woo!

Laura, would you like to proof-listen to these as they get completed? (You don't have to, certainly, but since you're a fan...)

I also just took a quick spot-listen to the 01 file. Mostly sounds good - nice and clean. (I always check for intro, out-tro, and a few spots in the middle.) Happened to note that at 28:51 there's a stray "Note for.." which sounds like it should be followed by something other than "End of Part 1."

Wow, thank you Laura :D (... I go to sleep... wake up, and get a proof-listener)... I think I read everything correctly... although his preface draws so much attention to the meter, and that makes me a little nervous... I wouldn't want to look silly trying to read his well-wrought poetry, getting it all wrong, or worse offend any fans of his... Let me know if you pick up on anything =)

Oh yeah... I should've gone over that with the other post... At first, I kept saying "Note [and then whatever number corresponded to that 'note']... See 'Notes' in Part Seven"... But this was after every poem (and now, I'm not even sure which part the 'notes' will be in, anyway)... so I just sort of truncated it to 'Note [#]'... (so you prolly heard "Note 4" after 'Deutschland,' which was the fourth poem)...

I've just decided (actually while writing this post) that I'll give you a new recording with the references to 'notes' cut out of it... should only take a minute...

sorry for all the rambling...

----Edit----

Here you go :)

Hello,

I will be on vacation Tuesday August 22 through Sunday August 27, and will probably not have access to a networked computer during that time. Have fun while I'm gone, but please do not post completed files for pickup until after I get back. This message is being posted in all projects for which I am the MC.

Thanks!
