[COMPLETE] Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare - PL/ce
Hiya,
Here are Feste's last two bits.
Firstly the missing song from act 3.
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/ce/twelfthnight_feste_act3_shakespeare.mp3.mp3
As noted previously with Feste's songs, the music was made up by me, so there's no copyright issues.
Here's the missing line from act 1:

I think that's all the Feste stuff. Please PM me and let me know if there's still outstanding lines or songs! Also, I think I've done Feste's intro, but please let me know if I haven't...
Thanks,
asy.

Hi Catharine -
Would you do me a favor and send me a PM when the rest of the files are edited and ready to be proof-listened?
Thanks!

Sure... though Xrystabelle's really the one to ask, as she's the BC for the project. I'll PM her and see what's going on.
Thanks for your listening!

Oops, sorry. Well yeah, if someone could just PM me when it's ready for listening, that would be cool. Thanks!
Just heard from her via PM; her notifications for threads aren't working. I've asked her to PM you when files are ready.

I've been thinking about this one for a bit, and I think we should just let it go as is, unless there's a real outcry. I know it was the consensus, but I fear it might be difficult to get all of the corrections in at this point. If I remember right, even the narrator's lines have her as Maria with a long e rather than a long i.

I'm fine with letting the discrepancy over "Maria" go - it's not that big a deal in the scheme of things.

I'm trying to clean up my lose-ended projects. I see in the MW that I have two lines that seem to be holding up those to sections. Do you need them from me or did I send them in? Sorry, don't remember. Thanks. --CM

No problem. The two missing/goofed lines are still missing, but I figured you would get to them in good order.
In I.3, we need a line from Sir Toby saying "Let her except before excepted."
In III.4, we need a lone from Sir Toby: "I dare lay any money 't will be nothing yet."
There are also two other minor goofs the PL found in act 2, if you want to change them out, too.
They are: "stoup of wine" from II.3's
"Thou 'rt a scholar; let us therefore eat and drink. Marian, I
say! a stoup of wine"
and "sheep-biter" from II.5's
"Wouldst thou not be glad to have the niggardly rascally
sheep-biter come by some notable shame?"
Thanks!

.
Here are the four "fixes" you requested, with apologies.

*Or at least appear to fit in (as I have been plagued by a variety of ENT
problems of late, including an a-a-a-attack of the early summer spores.)
Best of luck with the project!

All assigned here. You are safe from my cherry-picking of the smallest roles!
Sorry 'bout that. Turrible of us, I'm sure.
You could always go pick up one of the Fifty Famous Stories Retold or something like that. (I remember them being pretty darn short when I read them as a girl!)

fixed the error, and uploaded a new files at http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/ce/twelfthnight_03_shakespeare.mp3gloriana wrote:I've listened to Act 1 Scenes 1-4, and they sound great, apart from one small mistake in Scene 3:
Sir Toby says "Let her expect before expected," when the line is actually "Let her except before excepted." This is right near the beginning of the scene.
