Xrystabelle is now BC for this project
It looks like we haven't started on Shakespeare's comedies yet, and since I am a huge fan, I thought we could start off with one of my favorites, Twelfth Night.
Here's a summary of the play if you're not familiar with it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelfth_night
The text for this play is here: http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/1527
Below is a list of the characters. Roles in RED are currently available, BLUE is cast but not yet complete, GREEN is complete and ready for edit.

Quick Pronunciation Notes:
I believe Aguecheek should be pronounced as follows
http://staff.cua.edu/lundberg/aguecheek.mp3
Maria should be pronounced in the British way:
http://staff.cua.edu/lundberg/maria.mp3
Pronounce Feste like FESTY (rhymes with testy). (Thanks, johngon, for the info!)

Use "ce" as the MC for this project.
Please post the resulting link in the thread!
Cast Credits: At some point I will need an audio file from everyone for the list of "DRAMATIS PERSONAE." The file should include your part, as well as your name, as listed in the "DRAMATIS PERSONAE" list. For instance, mine would say, "CURIO, gentleman attending on the Duke, performed by Heather Barnett." You can do this in a seperate file or with your act one lines if your character is in act one. File name can be formated twelfthnight_charactername_intro.mp3, for example "twelfthnight_curio_intro.mp3".
Note: If you have a smaller part, such as the priest or officers, not specifically mentioned in the DRAMATIS PERSONAE, use the names as provided in the cast list above, i.e. "Priest, performed by John Doe" or "Officer 1, performed by Jane Doe." Likewise for the narration: "Narrator, performed by So-and-so."

Our Sea Captain is to be played by Kayray. Let's make a slight change to account for that. I beleive this is the only line affected, but let me know if you find (or are aware of) any others:
VIOLA.
The captain that did bring me first on shore
Hath my maid's garments; SHE, upon some action,
Is now in durance, at Malvolio's suit

RECORDING INFO:
File Info:
Encoded format: MP3
Sample rate: 44100
Bit depth: 16
Mono
Bit rate: 128K
You can either put your files on your server and post a link here in the forum or use http://www.yousendit.com. Either way, please post notification in this thread to let me know that you've sent the file.
File Naming: twelfthnight_charactername_act#_shakespeare.mp3 if submitting each act seperately
(example: twelfthnight_viola_act2_shakespeare.mp3). See note if submitting altogether:
Note: If you want to do your lines all in one file, that's fine. Just make sure to make a loud noise to distinguish acts and then list the act number. For example, I would clap loudly and then say "lines for act four." For naming, use this format: twelfthnight_charactername_shakespeare.mp3 (for example: twelfthnight_viola_shakespeare.mp3).
ID3 tags:
Not necessary for this project
Recording Notes: Please record your dialog with a 1-2 second pause in between your lines, so that the waveforms don't touch each other. Please do not attempt any type of filtering or modification of the "raw" sound. Snapping or clapping your hands once between scenes would help in editing.
I may in some cases ask for a line to be re-recorded to help the flow of the play, but hopefully that should few and far between.
If you have questions, please post here, or PM Xrystabelle.
