Sorry about my not sending in my recording yet. I have it recorded, but I have spent the past few weeks moving and haven't had a chance to edit it and send it in. It will be ready by Saturday.

I saw the orphaned chapters posting, and figured I'd give it a try!

I'd like to do the introduction:

Thanks

Hi bwedge, and welcome! (Looks like I saw this before westwinds.) Do you have a name and URL (optional) you'd like to have used in the catalog listing?

Just took a quick look and listen to your file for the Introduction. You have a nice, clear delivery, and I hope you read more for us!

In the future, please be sure to pay attention to the filenaming scheme found in the first post of any collaborative project:
AFTER recording:
Save files as
128 kbps MP3
mother_goose_##_baum.mp3 , all lower-case, where ## is your chapter.
(mother_goose_01_baum.mp3)
Also, an "End of Mother Goose in Prose by L. Frank Baum" seems to have slipped in at the end of your recording - that's an end-of-book notification, and only goes after the last chapter. Could you edit that out and send the edited file out? (Haven't checked your other chapter - if you could check the end of that too and make sure it doesn't have the end-of-book notification, that'd be great!)

Thanks again for jumping in so fast!

This is my first recording, so thanks for being so patient :) I've corrected the filenames and edited the extra end of the novel. Here are the files:

Woo! This is getting pretty close to done - only 4 chapters left to go!

Westwinds, want to set up a proof-listening thread? (And give a PM to your missing folks? Maddie is tremendously ill, I know, but don't know the status of everyone else.)

I'll PM you information on putting the little table you see on the first page into a message.
