The named female parts have been filled, but we'd love to have more voices on chorus. :)

We just closed Pirates at the Baton Rouge Little Theater and I was lucky enough to play Samuel.

It was great fun. I will definitely try to add to the chorus here as a baritone or bass!!

It is OUR DUTY!!!!

Welcome to the project. Have a look through the first post of the thread and, if you have any questions, just post them here.

By the way, if you feel up to it, the part of Samuel is available.

Great. Samuel only has a few pieces and I would love to sing that part so put me down. I will try to upload very soon.

I know most of the Pirate songs and will join in the chorus.

I am honor bound to participate! :D

Just to get my feet wet I'm attaching a recording of Samuel's dialog for act 1, scene 1. until before the Pirate King song. no singing, just dialog.

As usual, if this is not the correct format just let me know.
Samuel's part of Pour oh pour will come later today. hopefully.! :D

thanks, Phil. That's great.

Has any other BC asked you for a catalog name yet? If not, how would you like to appear in the catalog?

:) I've been sick for several days so nothing has been recorded for Pirates. But health is creeping back into my life and I'll be functioning like normal soon ...... Pirates is #1 on my list at that time.

I am using my name as my name: philchenevert

that way I will remember it!!

If you would like me to redo any or all of them just let me know. I am still learning how to do this 'track' thing.

I heard there was an orphaned baritone part. What is it and may I have it? :)

Furthermore, this forum is HUGE! Is there a way someone could create a "Where we are now what what we still need" summary post so I don't have to read the hundreds of entries from the years this topic has been up?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, no. All named parts have been taken. We'd love to add your voice to the chorus, though.

I would be very happy to join the chorus! What do I need to do?
