Hmm, I might volunteer for the Ostler, but I can't find his lines... Does he actually have any?

I can take some other small role, if you like.

Hehehe, Inquiring (ok, nosy) minds wanted to know, so I did a search through the text and found an awful lot of mentions of 'ostler' but only one line:

Ostler

[Within] Anon, anon.

what the heck is an ostler, anyway?

<too lazy to look it up at the moment>

According to Merriam-Webster online, it's a variant of hostler, one who takes care of horses or mules... (and there was something about locomotives but I don't think they had locomotives in Shakespeare's time)...

Hehe. The first carrier becomes very much annoyed with an ostler.... "What, ostler! come away and be hanged!"

I got the second set of lines done earlier than I thought I would. Here's Hotspur, Act II.

Lady Percy's lines (for parts 1 and 2) are done! More or less. I'm not entirely thrilled with them (and am particularly unhappy that the part 2 stuff does not sound nearly as emotionally harrowing as it was to do, but there is plenty of time for retakes) but for a draft this should be all right.

I would, btw, be happy to double up on parts if you'd like; just let me know. :)

May I please have the part of Second Carrier?

Hi, folks...

Many weeks ago I claimed the parts of Lady Mortimer and Owen Glendower for my husband & me, but he won't be able to do his part, so it seems best I put these parts back in the pool for someone else to do.

Sorry.
