Erika, I have just been told by Masa-san (ekzemplaro) that there is a translation into Japanese of this book. Unfortunately google translate does not produce a very understandable article, but as your Japanese is better than mine:

They also mention Ise and Kyoto in the article? Interesting, she hasn't been there - at least not in this version of the book. There are a couple of months missing from her letters though, between the time she has arrived back in Tokyo and when she finally leaves the country.

Oh! It looks like they want you to buy the book, so I'm not sure if the translation is out of the public domain. I only scanned briefly through the article. Yes, it says she finished her travels at Ise and Kyoto, so it must be the missing letters you were talking about.
