Love of Life, by Jack London, in one file, 51 minutes long including silence at the end. I think I got the ID3 tags right! :D

I've another Jack London story I can add to this volume. Only three pages long, but brilliant! He was the master of the short story. Shall I? :P

To the best of my knowledge, all of Jack London's work is now in the public domain. I searched through the London story collections on the Gutenberg site, but did not find The Leopard Man. I found it here:

http://www.classicreader.com/read.php/sid.6/bookid.181/

Is this all right, to use as a link to the text? There are many others, just none on Gutenberg that I can find.

Yes, the "Leopard Man" is a great choice... and that source is just fine. I believe it is also included in this collection: http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/1089 but has the name "The Leopard Man's Story"... is that the same one?

Enjoy =)

Yes! That's the same story, in the Moon Face collection. It's been so many years since I read it, I'd forgotten which book it was in (and Gutenberg doesn't have it listed on the download page in the book contents). Thanks for finding it! I will use that link instead of the commercial one. :D The story is recorded and will be edited today.

PS: Jack London wrote a short story called "Pinched", about being arrested for vagrancy:

http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/14658

I'll do that one as well. If this is too much of one author for volume 006, perhaps it can go in another volume?

Excellent Sandra! ... I don't mind having several stories from the same author in a single collection; so, go for it =)

Here is Jack London's short story "Confession", from his volume of short stories The Road. A tale of hobo-ing and tramping!

Text is here:

Thanks Linda! I'll take a listen later today... Also, I want to verify how you would like your name to appear on the catalog page... as Linda Wilcox? any url to go with it? =)

EDIT: Sounds great Linda! Great job! =)
