Big sorries everyone for slacking on the project and thanks Leni for stepping in. I've been very busy recently (not that that's a brilliant excuse for not at least checking in for however many days on end).

Thanks both. I've entered you in the Magic Window, Gilles.

Here's my submission, Carl and Leni:

Time: 00:37:31
This is my first submission of any length. I know it's a bit quiet, and am playing with a borrowed pre-amp to help for next time. Let me know if it's a problem.

Dear Carl,
I PL OKed chapter 5 on Oct. 24th. How come that is not acknowledged in the Magic Window? I think a lot of people are on this project with you but we don't know how we can help it along without your direction.

Hi Florence. Sorry about that, I guess I just didn't pick up on your post reading back through. And I will be here for the rest of the project, promise.

Hi Carl,
Great.
Choose which you would like me to do: Record Chapter 17, Science.....
or PL Chapter 9
(possibly neither!!)
Ciao, Florence

Oh it has to be totally up to you really. If you really want a decision, read the chapter. But that's totally at random. Or, I guess PLing would less time consuming...

Dear Carl,
I'll record Chapter 17 after Thanksgiving.
What does the below mean? Is there a way of getting the text other than going to the Gutenberg.org? What I've done is scroll down until I find Chapter 17 then copy and print out that section. If there were something more streamlined, I'd do it.
Source text (please only read from this text!): I will provide a link for each section to the text at Google Docs. The entire work is at: http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/852

So who is doing Chapter 17? Me or Phillip. I checked the magic window.
I've recorded a little bit of it but I wouldn't do anything more until after Thanksgiving.

Hello!
I would like to claim section 24 (Philosophy of Education) if I may. (It appears to have been claimed but is listed as available, so I assume the previous claim had lapsed.)
I am a first-time recorder (but have been OK'd in the 1-minute test). I'd like to be listed as "wintervetch", my handle here.
Thanks!
