Hello Anne,
I got excited just then and thought it was someone writing to say they had finished their chapter. Oh well. Anyway, I'm confused. am I supposed to listen to these files you found?

All the best,
Sandra.

That wouldn't be a bad idea - I wouldn't like to delete one of them then find it was just miss labelled

Hello Anne,
the first file is a version of chapter4/5 I think and the second one doesn't open, it just says page404 not found. Anyway I'll have a proper listen and compare the one in the mw with the one in your folder over the weekend at some point.

All the best,
Sandra.

Thank you John. That's made me very happy this morning and the day has hardly started!

It's great that you've stuck with this book for so long but can I ask you to stay for a bit longer, just till Carl has finished with you, ah ah ha!

All the best,
Sandra.

PL notes for section 4:

0' 44" - "the treatment" not clearly ennunciated
1' 12" - repeat on "in which cases"
1' 38" - "entrance" pronounced unusually
8' 43" - "be" missing from "has to be understood"
17' 26" - yawn
24' 51" - "in" missing from "building up in his mind"
American Psychology 1922-1947. It's the nearest thing to American Psycho that we are allowed to record.

Great reading John.

There were a few hesitations and pauses here and there and two in particular that I thought could do with fixing.

22:08 hesitation on "and the microscopist"
31:00 pause after "finds"

These are not life-or-death edits, but they shouldn't be difficult to do.

Cheers,
Carl.
Okay, thanks Carl. Will make use those edits and re-upload.

PL notes for secton 5:

11:32 "found the less nervous resistence" --> "found less nervous resistence"

11:46 big pause before "previous"

31.23 to 45.41 --- this whole section appears to be a repeat.

I have written to Cindy and Tamiko about their sections. John, are you coming back to make adjustments to the sections Carl mentioned in the last couple of posts?

Sandra.

Hello Anne,
I gave Cindy and Tamiko two weeks to write back to me about their parts. I don't even know if they're still working as part of the Librivox team anymore. How do I orphen their parts?

All the best,
Sandra.

It's just a case of either deleting the reader is they haven't any chapters read in the project or deleting the chapter number - may be a bit tricky for you to do so I have done it. We now have 3 orphans , I will move us back to readers wanted , and you could post in the orphans thread too

Sections 10, 12 and 13 have been orphaned - any takers ?

I'll take Section 10 - The Special Methods of Psychotherapy.
