Thank you very much John for recording the chapter and, as a consequence, finishing the book for me!

Anne, thanks for letting me know about Carl, I hope things improve for him. I'll finish the proof listening myself.

All the best,
Sandra.

Hello Anne,
thanks for being patient with me. Sorry I've been off the radar for a bit. I took some time away from Librivox to present a lunchtime radio show. I've just finished proof listening to section fourteen, (the last part of chapter ten). About ten minutes in, there's a small edit that needs doing. It's just before, (he shrinks from every undertaking), or something like that.

I noticed that chapters four and five, (and possibly a couple of others), have a lot of proof listening notes and I don't know what we're doing about that. Is John coming back to fix the chapters or are we editing them ourselves?

All the best,
Sandra.

Oh right. Well section seventeen is pl okay. What about the sections with proof listening notes attached to them? Are we writing to the readers or editing them ourselves?

All the best,
Sandra.

Some can not be fixed by us - and everyone deserves the chance to fix their own files :D So PM those with notes

Anne
What I meant by we can't fix is for example

0' 44" - "the treatment" not clearly ennunciated - can't fix
1' 12" - repeat on "in which cases" - could fix
1' 38" - "entrance" pronounced unusually - can't fix
8' 43" - "be" missing from "has to be understood" can't fix easily or well
17' 26" - yawn - could fix
24' 51" - "in" missing from "building up in his mind" can't fix easily or well - would have to try and find an "in" somewhere else , copy it and make it fit

Hello Anne,
Section six pl:
A sneeze about four minutes in.
A pause at about ten minutes in. Apart from that it's pl okay.

All the best,
Sandra.

You're most welcome John. That was me. I listened to ten sections over the weekend. Book co-ordinating is harder and more involved than people think.

All the best,
Sandra.
