Hiya!
I followed your signature, Ava, and found that I'm quite interested!

I was looking through the list, and although I see you say gender specific, I was wondering if I could do some of the younger boys, or at least attempt it. Technically their voices would be rather high if they hadn't had a voice change yet...

After looking through the list, I've found

Part 3: Bloom's Boys -78 or A Bluecoat Schoolboy -93
Part 7:Croppy boy-230

that I could possibly do.
The boys in Part 3 seem young enough, but I'm not quite sure about the Croppy boy....

Thought I would ask!
I don't think there are any more female parts available?

Lovely to see you here, Erika!

You are right, there are not many female roles available anymore. We always have troubles finding men... I found this one:
056: The Sluts and Ragamuffins (II/V)

Also doable for a female would be (I have only glanced at the titles though):

100: Baby Boardman (III)
121: The Mob (III)
123-126: Various Doctors (III)
135: The Irish Evicted Tenants (Irish accent probably a good idea - III)
212: The Pianola (singing would be great! - VI)

However, I have given "The Croppy Boy" and "A Bluecoat Schoolboy" to you for now. If you'd like to do 56 and/or 212 as well, that would be great, just let me know!

Oh, if you'd like to go for something even more crazy... viewtopic.php?f=27&t=42106 Knowing German is not required
Cheers, Ava.

Croppy boy and Bluecoat, gottcha.

Ha! The Pianola really is singing! lol
I wouldn't mind doing her, but I would have to figure out a tune... which I think would depend on the voices of the other characters. If it's okay that I just make something up, sure, I'm up for it! :)

Do I have have an Irish accent for the Croppy Boy? XD
I fail at accents other than my own XD

And if I were to do 56, would it be better to have multiple voices? It IS plural.
I can sort of manage about six different voices right now (without editing the pitch) so I think I might manage...

Oh my! lol
That looks like great fun. You'd have to tell me what to do though, my short term of Elementary German isn't helping me out too much.

Erika,

212 - The Pianola: You can make up your own tune, no problem. I would even go so far to suggest it could be a very old and broken pianola, if you're afraid of how you may sound (many people on here wouldn't go for any singing ever...)

56 - Sluts & Ragamuffins: Yes, several voices would be great. You could try and mix a few of your own takes together. I don't know how accquainted you are with audacity, but it's worth a try. You could send both a mixed version and a straight reading if you're not sure - David will choose.

About the German.. well, I have provided an English translation, and a link to a performance of the piece. Have a look/listen and see if/how you'd like to get involved. Although, I mean, who would not want to be a "pooping camel" or a "whinnying horse"... No more sheep available, though...

Thank you, Moromis, I've entered it in the MW.

It was marked PL-OK already so I will take your word for it that you were missing a line (I lost track a long time ago  though I'm sure that David knows).

Yes, thanks Moromis :D

* This morning I edited all the existing characters into Part 7 and discovered there was a 'unison' line for "The Watches" missing Laurie Anne.

Thanks Nathaniel!

I have given you the important role of Lynch/ Voice of Lynch (013) in sections 1,4-7 and the smaller ones of Bob Doran (040) in 2 and Michael, Archbishop of Armagh (087) in 3.

Enjoy - but please note the deadline of one month for these.
Cheers, Ava.

Pardon my stealing this from upthread:

If you haven't changed your mind about gender-casting, I'll volunteer for 100 [Baby Boardman] & 126 [Dr. Dixon].

In anticipation of my bid being accepted: in the "stage direction" for Baby Boardman, the text mentions a hiccup, but there's no "scripted" hiccup; as sorry as I am to take up this much of your time for a one-word line, I'm asking, do you want to hear a recorded hiccup before/in addition to the "Hajajaja."?

Thank you.

I still have the same opinion wrt gender casting. I shall take some time out next weekend and check if I can find any more "bendable" ones though

Both roles are yours, and you can either do with or without the hiccup, I leave that up to you. I think it would be cute to include it... :9:

Thank you Cyn!

Oh, btw, have you already noticed the craziest drama we've ever done?
