Hi Leni...

Here's Section 15. Sorry for taking so long. I'm a bit rusty so let me know if I forgot anything or any other comments you have about the piece. I'm open to critique!

I must say, I didn't care too much for the prose of this story. I have no bloody idea how this incoherent, piece of (drivel) writing was included in "Best mystery stories". Maybe I'm spoiled after reading so much qualitative Doyle (Sherlock).
The fitzjames (in this best mystery collection ) was VERY good and appropriately inlcuded in this. this author of the avenger was Atrocious! Actually maybe it was just antiquated prose. Also, each section was incredibly long (by far the longest sections I've read/encountered on librivox) But it was very convoluted at times. The sentences rambled, were incoherent. Bleh. bloody awful. This is the first project i've disliked reading at the start but it Did greatly pick up in the 9 to 11 sections. I loved all the science readings and the few fiction projects have done. I will be more selective of fiction projects I volunteer to read in the future and stick primarily with the non-fiction reads, which I greatly prefer.

Thanks. That said, here's the uploads:

The delay was do to figuring out how to eliminate background noise, which I did thanks to the helpful tutuorial via audacity (I got the noise elimination polished on 10 and 11).

Section 8
Heard sound background music so will redo this section

np. I don't mind doing the edits, it's just a hassle when i make the edits, upload and then people find edits that could've been found in the original upload.

Carolin wrote:I also prooflistened part 2 of the bohemian and found here some things as well:

Intro: needs noise cleaning
4:45 Repetition: I'm anxious to introduce..
7:55 Repetition: Those are a timid girl's fears
from ca. 10:25 to the end of the recording: needs noise cleaning
13:20 repetition: but they
17:35 break ca. 5 sec
19:30 break ca. 5 sec
19:30-20:20 repetition: I followed the directions - row down to our destination
27:35 stumble: i reached her just as...
28:30 break and loud click
31:50 break, ca 10 sec

There is a 11 sec space in the end of the recording

The tags are incorrect and also here, i can hear you click throughout the recording.

But your woman-voice is wonderful :)

CK
Haha! Thanks for woman voice compliment (if that's a compliment :!: ).

Thanks for PLs. What should I do about the clicking? Might be able to edit out individual clicks and/or use noise removal, but that's about it. :?:
