And here's 00:40 of me laughing. I'm not necessarily sure that I'm supposed to find anything this funny. I sound like Dick Van Dyke and Ed Wynn in Mary Poppins!

This sounds nothing like my real laugh, but it sounds right for the play, so why not?

I'm afraid that I've let this go for a long time, but now I'm back and I intend to finish it off.

I'm afraid that I suffer from depression, and I pretty much hit my nadir a week ago, and now the fact that I lived through it has given me confidence to tackle LibriVox stuff again.

My thanks and gratitude to everyone for keeping this going, as much as possible, in my absence.

I'm glad you're feeling better, Nullifidian. /muchos hugs! As a someone with cyclothymia, I wish you a speedy recovery and am sending good vibes your way. As I still love Pirandello (this play actually kinda got me into theatre, hilariously enough), if you need any help or if I can help record parts/PL or sth, I am all for it. :D

I'm formally orphaning the parts of the Step-Daughter, Madame Pace, the Manager, and I also note that we still need to "cast" a Juvenile Lead. :)

In that case, I'd like to claim the Step-Daughter, please. :)

I'll relinquish the Lead Actor role to the pool, and take on The Manager.

Done! I look forward to hearing your take on The Manager, because I've heard a number of your other recordings in other plays. I also have Songs of Innocence and Experience downloaded onto my MP3 player right now for my British Literature class. :D

My, this looks like an interesting one! As he's been left out in the cold with a little cast shuffling, may I please claim:

16 The Leading Man (male)

Cheers

You certainly may. Please read the notes for your role, because there is some reading in the group sections that I would like you to do. :)

Also if you wouldn't mind recording two or three takes of you laughing at the end of one of the files, I would appreciate it. There are several points where the actors and actresses laugh during the production, and if I have a few takes of people laughing I can meld them together in Audacity and otherwise play around with it to make it sound more realistic than a canned PD laugh track.

Thanks! :D

As requested, I've added some laughter at the end of act 3 ... and I'm NOT going to tell you what I was laughing at
