How is everyone doing? If you still have chapters to record, could you post and let me know if you are still interested?

If you are... no hurry, as the target date is in November. Just post quickly and let me know that you still plan on recording.

If life has gotten in the way, that's okay too! There's no shame in returning a chapter, and there are plenty of volunteers who can pick it up for you.

Many thanks!

I'm back from my vacation. I am uploading chapter 19 onto kri's uploader right now. Now that I've returned, I'm hoping to do a chapter a week until I'm done. When I get around to it, I will give pando a try.

best,

Judy
Judy, I couldn't get your file off the uploader. I'll try again tomrorow.

Still working along. I have some other projects with due dates that come sooner, so I'm working on those first. But it's coming! No worries! :D

You can list my name as Heather Barnett. :)
Tina--
Just a quick check to see it you got chapter 23. I don't see it marked as complete, so I thought I'd better follow up.

Hi Tina, I recorded 45 and 46 today. Editing should follow some time during the week. I also recorded a short piece by L. Frank Baum called "The Christmas Stocking" which was used as the introduction to a series of little books called the Christmas Stocking Series published in 1905. The stories themselves are not very Christmas-like - ABCs, Cinderella, Little Black Sambo! But the intro. is very sweet... and short, maybe two minutes.

Hi Tina,

I am sending you chapter 45 via pando right now.

Have you figured out whether or not Kidnapped Santa Claus will be part of the Xmas compilation, or should it be a stand alone short work?

I've one chapter left to record and then some editing.

Hi Tina,

I'm still hoping to finish my chapters, but if I find I cannot do them in the next couple of weeks, I'll return them. Thanks for your patience!

Hi Tina,

Chapter 48 is coming to you via pando right now. I may have to redo 46 as when I began to listen to it there were lots of small plosives, not the big obvious spikes, just little irritating ones that weren't evident as I was recording. Must have angled the mic wrong. Anyhow it is probably less work to re-record than to try to edit them out one at a time. Hopefully, I'll have it completed within the next week or so.

Hello Tina,

I've recorded Chapter 34 and uploaded it on librivox.greenkri.com.

There are some snaps and pops. I hope they aren't too annoying.

Working on Chapter 35 now!

Thanks, Claudine

Hi Tina,

I have a bad cold so I will have to hold off on re-recording ch. 46 until next week probably.

I must move in September, and I've begun a demanding and rewarding chunk of freelance work that requires persistent focus. I have looked forward to reading the chapters I claimed so long ago, but I think it is wiser to put them back into the pool for now, and finish a number of partially completed LV recordings before signing up for anything new.

So I will return these precious chapters for others to claim:
