Hi, I'd like to claim section 002 - Preliminary Chapter - Ursus, part III and IV. And... I kinda have already recorded it.
Here:
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/neb/manwholaughs_002_hugo.mp3 (It's 25 MB, 28 min long (WHOA))

Is that alright? If so, I want to be catalogued as... How many letters can there be? If three; urk (I'd really like this one, oh yes, please). If two; bu.
If the recording is not alright, I'll try to fix it. I'm obviously not a native English speaker, but hopefully it never dips into unintelligibleness.

Hello there and welcome :D
I can see you joined especially for this project, how nice! I cannot look at all the details of your recording now, I would need Audacity to do that, but my checker tells me all the settings are good, the volume too, and it sounds very nice (the first 20 seconds I listened to at least).
Thanks!
For the catalogue name, I don't think there is a limit, so it can also be your full name, or your whole forum name, let me know.
Just remember for the future to post the exact duration of the file so we can check easily if it was uploaded properly.
As for the accent, well, I'm not native either, don't speak English as well as you, and I still have not gotten kicked out of the English projects, so don't worry about that :D
our DPL should listen to your file soon! make sure to check once in a while if there are some corrections.
Would you like to read another? (or have you read another already  ?)

Thank you for the welcome, it's good to be here!
If all the massiveness of BURK fits, then that's what I'd like to be catalogued as... But not in all caps.
I will pay attention to future uploads.

As for reading another chapter, well, I never had such intentions... But I seem to have begun recording section 003 - Another Preliminary Chapter - The Comprachicos. IS THIS HOW IT'S GONNA BE FROM NOW ON?
I'll claim it. I'm claiming it right now.

Having finally finished Tolstoy's The Cossacks, I am ready for a change of authors. May I please be assigned Sections 25-27?

Regards,
David

Hello

I've signed you up. I'll need you to tell me which name you'd like to use for the catalogue, and also to submit a 1 minute test so we can check your settings, to be posted in the listeners and editors wanted forum.

Hello,

I am new to Librivox but I have experience using my voice for narration in film and for staff training for banks.

I would love to record: 093 - Part II, Book the Eighth, Chapter III - The Old Hall of The Man Who Laughs.

Many thanks,
Proofreader

Hello and welcome :D

93 is yours, I'll just need you to submit a short test just so that we can check your settings (the files have to be in a specific format).
Which name would you like to use for the catalogue page? We can also link to a webpage.
