Sorry it's taken me so long to get this done. Life intervened. But I'm back in the saddle, and have half of it finished. I should be finished either tomorrow or the next day.

Thanks, inoveryourhead!

We're getting VERY close to our self-imposed deadline on this one, and we still have a number of chapters outstanding.

I've sent out reminders to everyone left on the list, and most volunteers have replied and feel that they will be able to have their recordings done by the completion date.

I haven't heard from everyone, yet, however... and there is a strong chance that we may need a "pinch hitter" to jump in and grab a couple of chapters. If I don't hear back from folks by January 25th, I'll put the chapters up for grabs (this only for folks who have not already contacted me... if you've contacted me then you have until the 31st to submit).

We all know that volunteers have "real lives" that can step in and interrupt the best of intentions. Real Life takes precedence ... and that's understood. No one should feel bad if they are unable to complete a recording "on time". Librivox will be going strong for many years to come and if someone cannot get a recording done right now, they are sure to have a chance down the road!

But we want the Librivox catalog to keep growing, in order to continue to generate interest, listeners and volunteers. So we are trying to stick with our "deadlines" wherever possible.

If at any time a volunteer feels that they can't meet the completion date, just drop a note to your book coordinator (me in this case!). If you really want to do the recording and just need a little extra time.... no problem! Just let your book coordinator know when you will submit.

Thanks to all!

I got your chapters, Todd ... Thanks! I'll give a listen and let you know... but I'm sure they don't suck! :)

There's only six sections left... and the completion date of January 31st is coming fast!

... we may have an orphan ... but I'll wait until tomorrow to post it.

All but one volunteer has managed to get in touch with me.

Here is Part 5, chapter 3. I'll be editing chapter 4 this weekend.

I had some sort of blackout and, throughout, mispronounced the word 'growl' to rhyme with toll - if you think it's a disaster, I'll re-record the word, just let me know. I think most people will probably still understand what is meant.
