question for the experts:
The Project Guttenberg version of this book starts out with several pages of the CONTENTS (Chapter I contains:...., etc.)
How about if I start with Twain's Preface and go from there...OR
would it be following Librivox philosophy to start at with the contents???

John, I'll MC for you... I think the Ftp is still set up for you too.... so go ahead and create a new folder for this project there =)

wow! that table of contents is a doozy, isn't it! ... it could be it's own seperate file... but another idea would be to read the bit for each chapter at the beginning of each chapter file... Three Men in a Boat is set up like this if you want to see/hear an example of what I mean... ultimately, it's your choice depending on what makes the most sense to you =)

I'll wait to start, though, til the question's answered.

I like Betsie's idea (two posts up) but, as she says, do whatever makes sense to you :) Thanks for choosing this book!

Thanks Kara
(and Sorry Betsie...I didn't see your answer to my Q!!)
I'll go ahead and do the chapter description at the beginning of each chapter....sounds great to me!.

Betsie, I just tried to set up a folder at the FTP sight you set up for me and I couldn't get in (Probably something I'm doing wrong!)
When you get a chance, could you private mail me the address, username and PW again.
Thanks!
:-)
