Since I have the ones on either side, how about I do 69 too?

It sounds like a great idea :D
Thanks for taking on this chapter, Greg. Paper 69 is yours.

Grab as many as you want :D. But to begin with, I'm glad if you claim paper 47.
Thanks for volunteering, ZachBG!

OK, 47 is up at:

http://www.zacharybrewstergeisz.com/librivox/federalist/federalist-papers_47.mp3 (16 MB, 18:07)

I'd like 48 now. I'm interested in what will happen next to this little country, with its quaint notions of "separation of powers" and "liberty"!

Thanks for your recording of paper 47, ZachBG. I'm glad that you are interested how the story is going on, as paper 48 became an orphan just two days ago.

Greetings,

Greetings, Ranier.

I think this is a project with which I can help. Shall I do 50-55? What others are orphans? I'd like to see this finished as soon as possible, and as a political scientist, I highly value the work you guys have done.

Thanks! I hope to get a new mic and get going this week.

Hello Sibella,

I'm really glad that you volunteer for this project. Chapters 50-55 are assigned for you.
How do you want to appear in the catalogue? This can either be your forum name, a pseudonym or your real name - as you like (just remember that google will find you). We can also add a link to your website (if you have one).
I don't know if this is your first recording (or first recording for librivox), in any case, here are some informations:
http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=702
You can see the available chapters in the box in the first post of each thread. But this was just a general information, you don't have to search :D, in this project chapters 25, 77 and 78 are (again) available.

Thanks for volunteering, if you have any questions, just ask,

Rainer

Hi! Let me think about how I want to appear in the catalog. I have to be a bit careful due to my job. I will let you know. For now, Sibella is fine.

I'm going to get a mic tomorrow. What software do you recommend?

I would like to record Federalist no. 25, please. Heck, I'll even do 78 and 79, if you'll let me, and get this project done.
I remember how, in college, I got that part-time job as a circus clown, and how the children would laugh and laugh at me. I vowed, then and there, that I would get revenge.

Does that mean all the orphans are taken? Hooray!

Here's no. 48:

http://www.zacharybrewstergeisz.com/librivox/federalist/federalist-papers_48.mp3 (12:52, 11.8 MB)

Sibelia: nearly everyone here uses Audacity, a free-software, multiplatform sound editor. It's available at < http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ >. There are other, commercial editors available of course--I use Pro Tools most of the time--but Audacity is a good place to start.

Oh great! This project is really moving on...

@ Sibella
If you in any way uncomfortable to publish under your real name, don't do it. I put you in the catalogue info as "Sibella". And ZachBG gave you already tips for recording software. I can just add that I'm also one of those who use Audacity.

@ LeonMire
Certainly I will let you record 25, 78 and 79 :D, and very gratefully. Thanks for volunteering! And with this all orphans are adopted. Great :D

@ ZachBG
Thanks for your recording of chapter 48 and for your helpful tips on recording.

Greetings to all,

Rainer
